History & Vision
The Indo-Pacific Business Forum (IPBF) is the leading event to promote trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the UnitedStates and its partners throughout the Indo-Pacific.
This year’s event will highlight regional projects that are currently underway, envisioned for the future and incorporate best practices for interested companies to play a leadership role. This includes major U.S.-led Indo-Pacific Strategy initiatives: The Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership (DCCP), Infrastructure Transaction and Assistance Network (ITAN), and Enhancing Development and Growth through Energy Initiative (Asia EDGE).
Nations across the Indo-Pacific continue to recognize their role as key drivers of global economic growth, and ensuring innovative, resilient and sustainable development throughout the region will be critical for continued global economic prosperity in the 21st century. The U.S. and its regional partners are united by the principle that free, fair, and reciprocal trade, open investment environments, innovation-enabling policies, and transparent, good governance are shared values that can only be upheld through enduring and meaningful partnerships.
The Forum’s discussions feature the very latest developments on the business environments for key sectors, including energy, infrastructure, digital economy, healthcare and other critical sectors, along with policy recommendations and new opportunities for expanded public-private partnerships.
