In October 2021, the Governments of the United States of America and the Republic of India will welcome senior government officials, industry executives and other participants to the fourth Indo-Pacific Business Forum. This premier public-private event will be hosted virtually on October 28-29, 2021.

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is sponsoring the Forum and co-organizing with the Department of State and more than 10 other U.S. government agencies, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S. India Business Council, U.S. India Strategic Partnership Forum, AMCHAM India and the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council.

The Indo-Pacific Business Forum, now in its fourth year, is the leading event to promote trade, investment and economic cooperation between the United States and its partners throughout the Indo-Pacific region. This year’s event will highlight opportunities for U.S. companies and their Indo-Pacific partners to play a leading role in shaping the region’s economic development. This includes major U.S.-led Indo-Pacific Strategy initiatives related to economic recovery and resilience, climate action and digital innovation.

Sustainable development across the Indo-Pacific region will be critical for continued global economic prosperity in the 21st century. In furtherance of this goal, the United States and its regional partners are committed to free, fair and open trade, as well as open investment environments, innovation-enabling policies, transparency and good governance. The Indo-Pacific Business Forum will support enduring and meaningful partnerships that uphold these shared values.

The Forum’s discussions will feature the very latest developments impacting key areas of growth, including climate resilience, energy, digital economy and healthcare, as well as policy recommendations and new opportunities for expanded public-private partnerships.
